When should I order my treats?
At this time, custom cakes require about 10 days notice, but we will try our best to accommodate rush orders when possible. A small non-refundable retainer and signed order contract will hold a date for you while you work out party details such as RSVPs, and in the meantime we can work on design details.
Can you send me some design ideas?
Yes. Once a contract and retainer are in place, we can work on sketching your desired design, and making changes to it as needed. Sketching will only be done once those items are in place. You can see the work we’ve done already by scrolling thru our Gallery or social media. Even if we haven’t done your exact desired theme, you can gauge our quality of work by seeing previous designs.
Can you make this cake I found online?
We can certainly use any design you share with us as inspiration for your cake but will not be able to make an exact replica of another cake artist’s cake 100%. Cake design is an organic process and every artist, cake or otherwise, has a different touch to add, which is why your cake will always be special and one of a kind.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver in the majority of Northern NJ, Manhattan and select parts of Central NJ. Delivery fees range depending on distance from our Lyndhurst, NJ location. We do ask that you request delivery when placing your order so that we can block the appropriate timing for you. Pick up at a mutually convenient time from our shop is also available. Pick up days/times change seasonally, so please inquire.
Our cake tiers are between 5-5.5″ in height but for ease of serving, we utilize the industry standard serving size of 1x2x4” for cakes. Upon request we can provide you with a serving guide to help you get the most slices possible out of your cake. Venues utilize this same serving guide.
We recommend assuming at the very least, 1 slice of cake/cupcake, 3 mini cupcakes, or 4 dessert table treats per guest when party planning.
Upon booking your order, a contract will be required to formally hold your place on our calendar. A nonrefundable retainer is also due within 72 hours to secure your date. If you are unsure about order details, we can arrange a flat retainer fee. Once both of these items are received, your order is secured. Balance payments are due 10 days before order pickup/delivery. Nonpayment or late payments may result in delay or cancellation, in which case retainer will be forfeited. Payments may be made using cash, Venmo or any major credit card thru our 3rd party processor.

What is your COVID policy?
At this time, due to COVID, we are limiting access to the shop to employees and scheduled pick ups only. We are not holding consults in house – coordination at this time is via email and phone. Tastings are available as a take home box.
The shop is cleaned and sanitized in accordance with CDC regulations, and deep cleaned by a professional company each week. We are always gloved and masked, and ask that all those who enter also be masked.
